Pelicans’ Josh Hart reportedly ‘would like a fresh start’ in 2021-22 season

New Orleans Pelicans guard/forward Josh Hart could explore his options ahead of the 2021/22 season as he is going to be a restricted free agent.

According to Chris Fedor of cleveland.com, Hart “would like a fresh start” in 2021-22 after spending the past two seasons with the Pelicans.

The Pelicans are expected to decide on Lonzo Ball and Josh Hart, who are going to be restricted free agents this summer.

Coming off a disappointing 31-41 record in 2020-21 and missing the postseason for a third straight year, New Orleans could look to upgrade their roster this offseason.

The Kentucky product averaged 9.7 points on 42.9 percent shooting and 7.2 rebounds per game in 112 appearances in New Orleans.
