FC Barcelona superstar Nikola Mirotic could skip the upcoming Olympic Games in Tokyo (23 July – 7 August).
Per a report by the Spanish newspaper AS, Mirotic considers spending time with his family after finishing the season with FC Barcelona instead of joining Spain.
Due to the Covid-19 Health and Safety protocols, Mirotic may decide to skip the tournament and have some rest after a full season with FC Barcelona.
Spain is set to face Argentina, Japan and the winner of the Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Kaunas in the group stage.
