Dallas Mavericks’ season came to an end after their loss in Game 7 vs. the LA Clippers. The Mavs experienced another first round exit since they won the NBA championship back in 2011.

However, Mark Cuban is not considering a head coach change this offseason despite the team’s sixth first round exit in 10 years.

(per ESPN’s Tim McMahon):

“Let me tell you how I look at coaching. You don’t make a change to make a change. Unless you have someone that you know is much, much, much better, the grass is rarely greener on the other side.”

The Mavericks finished 42-30 this season, good for the No. 5 seed in the Western Conference and the second straight season Dallas has been at least 10 games over .500. But, they could not get past the Clippers in the first round for the last two seasons.
