Ben Simmons welcomes the challenge of guarding Trae Young in Game 2 of the series vs. the Hawks as the 76ers dropped their first game at home.

Trae Young had an outstanding game with 35 points and 10 assists to propel his team to a 128-124 upset over the top team of the Eastern Conference.

“I probably would do that. I mean, I want to. If the refs aren’t gonna call so many fouls and I can be physical and be 6’10”, then I’ll be 6’10”. But we’ll see,” Simmons told reporters after the game.

The Hawks took a 26-point lead over the Sixers at some point, but they gοt away with the win at the end after letting Philadelphia get back in the game.

Game 2 of the series will take place on Tuesday at Philadelphia.
