Milwaukee Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer will continue to tap in the strategy of using the depth of his squad in the series against Brooklyn.

After the 115-107 loss in Game 1, Jrue Holiday led the team with 37 minutes, while Khris Middleton and Giannis Antetokounmpo logged 36 and 35 minutes, respectively.

“I think our guys left it all out on the court,” the two-time Coach of the Year explained postgame, according to The Athletic’s Eric Nehm. “They all want to play 48 minutes. So we just gotta keep them competing, keep them where they can execute.

“Giannis never wants to come out, Khris, Jrue. But we got a deep team and we gotta take advantage of it. Keep them ready. Keep them fresh, but they want to be out there.”

At the same time, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving stayed in the court for 45 and 40 minutes, respectively, leading Brooklyn to the win.

Game 2 of the series will take place on Monday.
