Damian Lillard broke another postseason playoff record in Game 6 of the series between the Blazers and the Nuggets. In the previous game, Dame set a new record for made threes in a game with 12.
Now, in the first half of a crucial Game 6, he made his 35th three of the series, which a single-series record in the history of the NBA postseason.
The previous record was held by Utah Jazz star Donovan Mitchell, who dropped 33 in last year’s epic first round series against the Denver Nuggets. Mitchell surpassed Jamal Murray, who had 32 in the same time.
The Blazers’ superstar exploded for 55 points in the 2-OT loss to the Nuggets last game, making an NBA record 12 three-pointers. Lillard surpassed Klay Thompson, who had 11 makes from deep in a game back in 2016.
