Philadelphia 76ers advanced to the Eastern Conference semifinals after closing out the series against the Washington Wizards in 5 games.

Seth Curry had a season-high 30 points to lead the Sixers to a 129-112 blowout victory. Philadelphia learned before the game Embiid will be unavailable for Game 5, however Curry and Tobias Harris (28 points) picked up the slack.

Simmons got back after a mediocre Game 4 to put up his third career triple-double in playoffs with 19 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds. For the Wizards, Bradley Beal had a game-high 32 points.

The Sixers will face the Atlanta Hawks in the second round playoff series in the East, after Nate McMillan’s team closed out the series away from home tonight prevailing with a 103-89 win over the Knicks in Game 5 of the series (4-1).
