Los Angeles Lakers are hopeful Anthony Davis will return for ‘do-or-die’ Game 6 vs. the Phoenix Suns, Frank Vogel told reporters.
The Lakers’ head coach claimed Davis will be a game-time decision on Thursday. Davis joined the team for “some work” in Wednesday’s practice, Duane Rankin reports.
Davis suffered a groin injury during Game 4 of the Western Conference opening playoff round series vs. Phoenix. Davis exited at halftime of Game 4 and did not return.
However, Vogel claimed he is not cleared to play yet. The Lakers’ superstar did not play in Game 5 as the Lakers fell to the Suns, who need one more win leading the series 3-2.
