LaMarcus Aldridge was forced to retire from the NBA in mid-April, due to an irregular heartbeat, and hasn’t adapted to the new reality.

Aldridge said he is still shocked by his decision and addressed his battle with depression after retirement.

“I’m still trying to find myself. When you go from doing something you love for so long and you lose it overnight, it’s a shock,” Aldridge said, via Bleacher Report.

Aldridge, a 14-year NBA veteran, played just a few games with the Brooklyn Nets before retiring from the NBA.
