Anadolu Efes endured the comeback of FC Barcelona and took the 81-86 victory in the Championship Game to become the new EuroLeague champion.

It was a late thriller at Lanxess Arena, which was decided by some clutch shots from Efes star duo of Shane Larkin and Vasilije Micic.

Larkin (21 points) and Micic (game-high 25 points) combined for 46 points for the winners, who made it to the top of the EuroLeague for the first time in club history.

On the other hand, FC Barcelona will need to wait another season to return to the top of Europe (they last won the title back in 2010).

FC Barcelona, who led by as many as 10 early in the game (25-15), came back from 11 points down midway through the third quarter (41-52).

Yet, they missed some crucial shots in the final seconds and, therefore, Efes held on to win the game and the EuroLeague championship.
