Mavericks reportedly confident they will re-sign Tim Hardaway Jr. to a new contract

Dallas Mavericks are confident in their ability to re-sign sharpshooting wing Tim Hardaway Jr. to a new contract this summer, according to Marc Stein of the New York Times.

Hardaway will be an unrestricted free agent this summer, being at the final season of the four-year, $71M deal he signed with the Knicks in 2017.

Since then, the 29-year-old guard/forward established himself as a shooting wing averaging 16.9 points on .423/.364/.825 in his career.

He is also playing an instrumental role in the series against the LA Clippers so far scoring a scorching average of 25 points for Dallas in the first two games of the series vs. the LA Clippers.
