Denver Nuggets’ fans booed Carmelo Anthony during Game 1 of the series against the Portland Trail Blazers. The veteran star was called to share his thoughts on the fans’ reaction after the end of the game.

“What else can they do? I don’t know what it is. I gave my all here for 7.5 years. I’ve never said anything bad about Denver, about fans, the organization, players.

I never complained. I took everything on the chin even when it wasn’t my fault,” per Michael Scott of HoopsHype. The Blazers were able to snap Nuggets’ home-court advantage at the start of the series.

Anthony finished the game with 18 points, burying a couple of threes early in the Blazers’ 123-109 victory over Denver. The two teams will face each other again on Monday.
