Los Angeles Clippers fell short in Game 1 of the first round playoff series against the Dallas Mavericks. The Clippers are hoping for a deep playoff run, however Paul George is not fazed by the pressure after Game 1 loss.

“We got the same pressure every team has [in playoffs],” George said after the 113-103 loss, per Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN. “We want to be the last team one standing. We got to do better in Game 2. I plan for this team bouncing back,” he continued.

Ty Lue’s team will face the Mavs again on Tuesday hoping for a reaction after a disappointing start in the first round series of the 2021 NBA Playoffs.

After a slow start in the game, George went in to put 23 points, six rebounds and five assists in 39 minutes of play. He shot 8-of-18 from the field, making two of his eight three-point attempts.
