Victor Oladipo received positive news regarding his return, after having surgery to repair his right quadriceps tendon. The Miami Heat star could be back in action in November, according to his surgeon.

“I repaired the quad tendon and did it a little differently than [he had] it done before,” Jonathan Glashow told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

“The quad wasn’t really hooked up. It was torn, and I reattached it. I was amazed he was playing with what he had. I’m very optimistic that I could clear him in six months, by November. I think he’s going to play really well again.

“[The surgery] went extremely well, and it’s healing beautifully. I’m confident he’ll play next year,” the surgeon continued.

Oladipo was limited to 33 games during the 2020-21 regular season. He only played four games for the Miami Heat after getting traded to the South Beach franchise from Houston.

He is set to be an unrestricted free agent this summer. It’s still unclear if the Miami Heat will opt to keep Oladipo in their roster.
