Lakers’ LeBron James will not face suspension for violating health and safety protocols, per report

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James will not face any consequences for violating the NBA’s health and safety protocols, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

James attended an event promoting his tequila brand, ESPN’s Dave McMenamin reports. James was among several big-name guests at the event, which included rapper Drake and actor Michael B. Jordan.

Despite the violation, James will not face any suspension as the ‘nature of event didn’t rise to a threat level of virus spread’, per Woj.

As a result, James will be available for Game 1 of the first round playoff series between the Lakers and the Suns, which start on Sunday.
