Ja Morant calls for the league to give the MVP to Stephen Curry

Memphis Grizzlies superstar Ja Morant prevailed in his battle with Stephen Curry, leading his team to its first playoff appearance in four years.

Morant took to Twitter to comment on a post about the game between the Grizzlies and the Warriors calling for the league to give Curry the MVP.

Curry is among the three finalists for the MVP award this season, however he is not projected to win the award, with Denver Nuggets Nikola Jokic being rightfully the clear-cut favorite.

Curry finished the season averaging 32.0 points per game on 42.1 percent shooting from the three-point line. Morant had an excellent night in the final play-in game dropping 35 points and two clutch floaters in the overtime.

Curry did everything in his power to bring the Warriors back to the postseason, however his 39-point performance was not enough.
