Anthony Davis believes the Lakers should be flexible with their lineups on the floor and adapt to the opponents’ tactics in order to win games.

Davis also said the Lakers may need to go small in some games, especially in the playoffs, but this is something his teammates understand and accept.

“The locker room is great. We’ve got a great group of guys who understand that, same way as last year. So there might be other games where we do the same thing.

There might be games where we go big with Drum at the five and I’m at the four. It’s all about matchups, and tonight was one of those nights,” Davis said, via Silver Screen and Roll.

During the victory against the Warriors in the play-in game on Wednesday, Davis was forced to play as center for the Lakers, with Andre Drummond sitting on the bench.
