Anthony Davis on him, LeBron James, Dennis Schroder recovering from 2/22 shooting vs. Warriors

Three key players of the Los Angeles Lakers, namely Anthony Davis, LeBron James and Dennis Schroder, struggled with their shots during the first half of a play-in game against the Golden State Warriors. The three made just 2 out of 22 shot attempts.

After the game, Davis, who led the Lakers with 25 points, was asked about a turning point that helped him, James and Schroder start making buckets.

“At the half time before third quarter started I told me, Bron, Dennis to come in, I just told them ‘It’s on us. We gotta go. Us three we just got to be better on both ends of the floor.’ They both said ‘Say less.’ And we’re able to take off a little and cut that lead down,” Davis said.

“That’s all it was. We’re able to play great defense. Steph hit some tough shots, they made some tough shots but we continued to fight. We had to rebound the basketball and we were able to do that late in game. But we’re just running, running in transition, getting stops and playing our style of basketball which ultimately got us that victory.”
