Steve Kerr opened up about the defensive performance of the Lakers ahead of the play-in clash with the Warriors.
Kerr, the head coach of the Warriors, explained that the big bodies of the Lakers help them make defensive adjustments and believes this is their plan to contain Stephen Curry.
“Defensively they don’t have to commit to a blitz, but they can still cover a lot of ground with all those big bodies … there’s a resaon that they’re the No. 1 defense in the league.
I’m not sure if this is what the league envisioned, Warriors-Lakers in a play-in game,” Kerr said, Mike Trudell of Spectrum Sportsnet.
