The Golden State Warriors won 9 out of 10 regular season games in May as they locked their spot in the play-in tournament. They will face the Los Angeles Lakers in the play-in tournament later tonight.

Ahead of the game, Lakers head coach Frank Vogel was asked what he saw from the Warriors lately that was different from the way they played earlier in the season.

“I just think Steph’s been ultra assertive,” Vogel said. “Obviously they’ve evolved and I think their role players are playing a lot better. Pool’s playing better, Wiggins is playing better. Looney and Draymond playing real well either together or separately. But I think the biggest difference is just the assertiveness level that Steph’s been playing with.”
