Even without Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson, the Golden State Warriors are very close to qualifying for the playoffs thanks to Steph Curry. The 33-year-old guard has just won an NBA scoring title ahead of the play-in tournament.
According to the Dubs head coach Steve Kerr, Curry is playing his best basketball. The three-time NBA champion averaged 32 points, 5.5 rebounds and 5.8 assists per game this season.

“Well, he’s never been better, I can say that,” Kerr told reporters. “He’s been great for a long time, though, so it’s hard to say he’s at his best now because he’s been like this for years. I think what’s different this year is just the supporting cast.”
The Dubs will take on the defending champs in the first game of the play-in tournament. If they manage to beat the Lakers, they will take the seventh seed in the playoffs and will face the Phoenix Suns in the first round.
A defeat would mean a second game against the winner of the game between the Memphis Grizzlies and the San Antonio Spurs.
