Dimitris Itoudis will remain with CSKA Moscow until the summer of 2023, the club announced earlier. The coach from Greece has been leading the ‘Army Team’ since 2014.
He led the club to two EuroLeague titles (2016, 2019) and multiple appearances in the Final Four of the competition. Itoudis also won five VTB United League titles with the EuroLeague giants.
Itoudis has been on a winning course since the start of his career being the most decorated student of Zeljiko Obradovic as he won five EuroLeague championships alongside the legendary head coach as an assistant with Panathinaikos.
CSKA will participate in the EuroLeague Final Four, which will take place in Cologne, Germany this season. CSKA went through Fenerbahce in the quarterfinal series to secure their 18th Final Four appearance in the 21st century.
