Chris Webber to be inducted to Hall of Fame with 2021 class, per report

Chris Webber will be among the former NBA players that will be inducted to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame as part of the 2021 class, per Marc J.Spears of the Undefeated.

Webber will be announced as a member of the 2021 class on Sunday alongside Ben Wallace and Paul Pierce. Webber averaged 20.7 points, 9.8 rebounds and 4.8 assists through his 15 NBA seasons.

The University of Michigan product had his best stint in his career with the Sacramento Kings, leading the franchise to six consecutive postseason appearances.

He made five All-Star teams and won the 1994 Rookie of the Year award. He was a member of the Michigan’s ‘Fab 5’ with Jalen Rose, Juwan Howard, Jimmy King and Ray Jackson, leading the team to the 1993 NCAA championship game.
