The Los Angeles Lakers now have two major lob threats on the team with Andre Drummond next to Anthony Davis. The team’s primary playmaker, LeBron James, has quite a few passing options as a result of that.

Though the trio played just their third game game together, so there is still plenty of room for improvement. Lakers head coach Frank Vogel talked on the subject after the win over the Indiana Pacers.

“With those guys rolling the basket AD playing the spin out game in the post that we haven’t really gotten a lot of this year,” Vogel said. “But the attention that Drummond draws on the glass frees up a lot of things at the rim as well.

“So you got two lob threats now with the best passer in the history of the game and you got shooter on the perimeter too. So a lot of target for Bron and I think it was a good first look at that group.”
