The superstar of the Golden State Warriors Stephen Curry was having an injury due to which head coach Steve Kerr gave him a day off.

The three-time NBA champion has been suffering a tailbone and he badly needed a rest. Kerr provided an update about Curry’s injury with the play-in tournament approaching.

“Draymond’s knee and Steph’s tailbone are still a lingering concern,” he said, per Alex Didion of NBC Sports. “So this was desperately needed having yesterday off and then today, without playing a game.

He’s still wearing the (butt) padding, he still feels the soreness so it was good for him to get off his feet the last two days.”

Curry and the Warriors are currently eighth in the West, with a 37-33 record, and have clinched their spot in the play-in tournament.
