Boston Celtics all-star forward Jaylen Brown will miss the rest of the season due to a wrist injury. According to the latest Celtics’ report, Brown will return to basketball activities in three months after he underwent a successful reconstruction surgery.
The injury put a stop to Brown best season in his NBA career as he was named an all-star averaging 24.7 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.4 assists shooting a 48.4 percent from the field.
The promising forward has not played since May 2, before his season came to an end due the wrist surgery. The Celtics are sitting 7th in the East with just a couple of games remaining.
Brad Steven’s team is looking destined to participate in the play-in tournament. Without Brown, Walker will have to carry the Celtics’ offense as a second option behind Jayson Tatum.
