Andre Drummond had his 8th double-double as a Laker as he finished the game against the Rockets with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Head coach Frank Vogel was happy with the 27-year-old center for the way he played.
“Dre’s been great,” Vogel said postgame. “We’re really challenging him to just be great on both sides of the ball, protecting the rim and finish around the basket, playmaking, being big on the offensive glass I thought we saw from him tonight. He had another strong performance second night in a row… I’m happy with Drum’s done the last two nights.”
This season, Drummond is averaging 15 points, 11.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game for the reigning NBA champions.
