Frank Vogel on Talen Horton-Tucker: “He’s doing a phenomenal job”

Talen Horton-Tucker played big minutes for the second game in a row as the Los Angeles Lakers were without three playmakers in LeBron James, Dennis Schroder and Alex Caruso in a game against the Houston Rockets.

The 20-year-old guard played 37 minutes during which he scored 23 points and dished 10 assists to help the Lakers take an important win.

Lakers head coach Frank Vogel praised the sophomore for the way he is currently playing. “Talen’s doing a great job for us,” he said. “Let’s highlight the positive. He’s carrying a big load, been asked to basically run the whole team with all of our point guards and quarterbacks out. He’s really a scoring two. He’s doing a phenomenal job helping us these last two games.”
