Prior to the home game against the Rockets on Wednesday, the Lakers unveiled the 2020 NBA championship banner.
Through a two-part video, the Lakers celebrated the 17 championships they have won in the history of the franchise.
“The road to back-to-back starts in about a week,” LeBron James said prior to the ceremony, with the Lakers having their sights set on repeating this season.
The 17th gold championship banner of the Lakers had been covered by a black sign that read “Stay Tuned, Lakers Family” throughout the season.
