Lakers injury report: Four players probable; LeBron James, Anthony Davis out vs the Rockets

The Lakers will face the Houston Rockets on Wednesday night without LeBron James and Anthony Davis in their lineup.

James is out with a right ankle sprain and is expected to return on Saturday in the game against the Indiana Pacers. Meanwhile, Anthony Davis is dealing with a left adductor tightness and is also out vs the Rockets.

At the same time, four Lakers players (Kentavious Caldwell-Pope – right ankle sprain, Marc Gasol – volar plate fracture, left pinkie finger, Talen Horton-Tucker – right calf strain and Kyle Kuzma – lower back tightness) are probable for the contest.

The Lakers list Alex Caruso (sore right foot) as questionable, while Jared Dudley (right MCL tear) and Dennis Schroder (Health and Safety protocols) remain out for the defending champions.

For their part, the Rockets will be without eight players vs the Lakers, while another three are questionable.
