LeBron James remains one of the best, if not the best, players in the NBA at the age 36. Despite his exceptional longevity, the Los Angeles Lakers star may be in decline. That is the case, according to sports analyst Max Kellerman.

“Yes, we are,” he replied when asked if we are seeing a decline of James. “This is uncharted territory in the history of basketball. No one’s ever been at the LeBron James level including Kareem [Abdul-Jabbar] or anyone. This many minutes into their NBA career. So every minute he remains that way he resets the record.

“We don’t know that what’s going to happen but I’ll you this: you know what the highest placed source, Perk, who has revealed to the world and now it’s been a couple of days since he revealed it that LeBron James is in decline? LeBron James!

“And for some reason, am I the only person who notices who’s talking about this? A couple days ago, LeBron said, ‘I doubt that I’ll be 100 — I knew there was a chance I wasn’t going to be 100 percent this season. In fact, I don’t think I’ll ever be 100 percent again in my career.'”

In his 18th season in the league, LeBron is averaging 25 points, 7.9 rebounds and 7.8 assists in 33.7 minutes per game for the reigning NBA champions.
