Since the recent addition of head coach Chris Finch, Minnesota has looked very competitive in these last few months. The Timberwolves are trying to create a successful culture for next season, as they’ve seen great signs from their stars to young players. D’Angelo Russell said after Sunday’s blowout win over Orlando that his club is currently working on building winning habits for 2022.

“Any time we got a little lead, we’re trying to learn how to step on people’s throats. We’re trying to give our fans a taste of what next season is going to look like and what our approach is going to be. I give our credit to our coaching staff, they’ve done a great job of preparing us for each game.”
