Russell Westbrook recorded his 181st career triple-double on Saturday as the Washington Wizards continued their resurgence in the East standings.

In a chat with David Aldridge of The Athletic, Los Angeles Lakers’ legend Magic Johnson expressed the idea that Westbrook is an underappreciated player.

“When we show highlights, it’s how many points somebody had, how far can they shoot out on the court. Russell Westbrook is neither one of those things. He gets all these triple-doubles, but you don’t see him on the highlights.”

Regardless, Russell Westbrook had another triple-double performance in the game against the Pacers Saturday as he registered 33 points, 19 rebounds and 15 assists to tie Oscar Robertson’s record of 181 career triple-doubles.

He also led his team to the win making a winning block on Indiana’s last shot attempt and helping the Wizards secure an important victory.
