Frank Vogel confirmed LeBron James will not be in the lineup of the Lakers for the game against the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday.
Vogel, the head coach of the Lakers, said James has been ruled out for the game vs the Blazers.
James reaggravated his ankle injury on Sunday and could be medically cleared to play next week.
Without James in the lineup, the Lakers have struggled and currently are tied with the Dallas Mavericks for fifth in the West, at 37-28.
