LeBron James has no plans to miss the final games of the Lakers in the regular season, even though he is still dealing with an ankle injury.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, James is expecting to be medically cleared to return to action next week.

“Sources tell me LeBron James is aiming to return to the Lakers lineup next week,” Charania reports.

James had been sidelined for 40 days, due to a right anke sprain, before returning to the Lakers’ lineup last week.

However, he re-aggravated his injury against the Toronto Raptors on Sunday and will be out in the back-to-back set with the Clippers and the Blazers.
