Nikola Jokic is not concerned about the possibility of facing the Lakers in the first round of the playoffs.
Jokic said the Nuggets should play with the best if they want to win the championship and has no problem to face the Lakers.
“If it happens, it happens. Why not? If we want to win it, we need to play with the best. We are not going to try to fix anything,” Jokic said, via Mike Singer of the Denver Post.
Denver is currently third in the West, tied with the Clippers at 43-22. The Nuggets managed to secure their place in the postseason after the loss of the Blazers on Thursday.
On the other hand, the Lakers are fifth on the table, with a 37-28 record.
