Miami Heat sharpshooter Duncan Robinson has done it again. After becoming the fastest NBA player to knock 300 three-pointers down back in January, the former University of Michigan player is now the fastest to 500.

Robinson scored 20 points in Miami’s win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday night, going 7-10 from the field and hitting six threes. He reached the 500 mark with just 152 games played, 35 fewer than Luka Doncic.

It took Doncic 187 games, Damian Lillard 199 games, Donovan Mitchell 208 games, while Klay Thompson and Buddy Hield both needed 214 games to register 500 made threes.

Robinson’s record-breaking three fell through the basket early in the third quarter of Saturday’s contest. He collected a pass from Trevor Ariza, took a dribble and let it fly. The Heat, meanwhile, have improved their record to 34-30 in the East and are tied with the Boston Celtics for the sixth spot, with two games left to play against their conference rivals.
