Kyle Kuzma played 36 minutes and had 11 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists as the Los Angeles Lakers lost to the Washington Wizards.

For the 25-year-old forward, eight assists in this game was a season-high. After the game, the Lakers head coach Frank Vogel was asked about Kuzma’s achievement.

“Kuz’s been great all year,” Vogel said. “Just the positivity that he brings to our team, doing whatever the team needs for us to get W’s and staying aggressive and making the right reads. That’s the biggest thing with him.

“We know he can score. But we want him to make the right basketball play each time down. Sometimes that’s going to be getting the basket, shooting catch and shoot threes, sometimes if help comes, he’s going to make the right play, saw that with the eight assists. So very pleased with how he’s playing.”
