Kevin Love left a lot of people confused after slapping a basketball into play during the third quarter of the Cleveland Cavaliers’ loss to the Toronto Raptors on Monday night. The forward’s play led to an easy three-pointer for the Raptors and he did not return to play in the fourth, nor did he speak to reporters after the game.
Per Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, the Cavs are handling the matter internally, with Love having apologized to the team. It’s also been reported that Love’s frustration was with the officials, not his teammates.
