Free agent big man Moe Wagner is signing a deal with the Orlando Magic for the rest of the season, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.
Wagner has played with the Washington Wizards (25 games) and Boston Celtics (nine games) this season.
The Magic have waived forward Robert Franks, who was on a 10-day contract, in order to open up a roster spot for Wagner.
This season, Wagner, 24, is averaging 5.6 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game in 34 total games.
The Magic have shifted into rebuilding mode and Wagner will have a chance to get some minutes at the end of the season to try to earn a spot on the roster next year.
Wagner will wear No. 21 with the Magic.
