Rudy Gobert took full responsibility for the Utah Jazz’s loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves Monday. The two-time Defensive Player of the Year allowed D’Angelo Russell to find an easy lay up under the basket that secured T-Wolves’ win.

“It’s totally on me. [Mike Conley Jr.] was already out there. We switched. I should have recognized that. He did what he was supposed to do, and I didn’t. 200% on me. … It’s one of those plays, when you watch the replay, you just feel dumb,” Gobert said on the play, per ESPN’s Tim McMahon.

Gobert is averaging 14.4 points, 13.6 rebounds, 2.8 blocks, and 1.3 assists per contest this season helping his team clinch another playoff berth.

The Jazz became the first team to clinch a playoff berth despite three losses to the lowly Minnesota Timberwolves, who swept the regular season series over the team with the best record in the conference.
