Magic head coach Steve Clifford will not sit on the bench in the game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday night.
Clifford has tested positive for the coronavirus and has been in the Health and Safety protocols of the NBA.
Aside from the game against the Lakers, Clifford will miss multiple games and there is no timetable for his return. Assistant coach Tyrone Corbin will coach in Clifford’s absence
The Magic are expected to be short-handed against the Lakers, while the defending champions also have several players on their injury list.
