LeBron James could return as soon as next week, says NBA Insider

LeBron James could make his return to action sooner than expected, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Even though the Lakers have not released a timetable for the return of James, Wojnarowski reports this could happen as early as next week.

“You’ll see Anthony Davis still be on that 15-minute restriction in his second game back tonight but that’ll start ramping up as we get closer to LeBron James’ return, which could be as soon as the following week,” Wojnarowski said on Saturday, via Lakers Daily.

LeBron James has been sidelined since March 20, due to a right ankle sprain he suffered in the home game against the Atlanta Hawks. The four-time NBA champion is averaging 25.4 points, 7.9 rebounds and 7.9 assists per game this season.

For their part, the Lakers are fifth in the Western Conference with a 35-24 record.
