Jeanie Buss named the five most important players of all time in the history of the Los Angeles Lakers.
Buss, the owner of the Lakers, went with Lakers champions Kobe Bryant, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, LeBron James, Magic Johnson and legendary head coach Phil Jackson.
“You have to start with Kareem and Kobe and LeBron. Magic. Yes of course, Magic. Magic might be No. 1….Does he (Phil Jackson) count as a Laker? Then, Phil,” Jeanie Buss told Stephen Jackson and Matt Barnes during his appearance in the All The Smoke podcast.
Buss and the Lakers have won a total of 17 NBA championships and are tied with the Boston Celtics for most in league history.
