The Utah Jazz defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 111-97 at Staples Center on Monday after losing to the hosts a couple of day before. According to James Worthy, who won three NBA titles wearing Purple and Gold, the Jazz is ‘no joke.’

“The superior team showed up tonight,” Worthy said on Spectrum SportsNet after breaking down how Utah defeated the Lakers. “It’s tough with this… the bubble and the way they pack these games in you got to play the same team back-to-back. That’s not easy to do. And that’s rare. So I’m not making an excuse.

“The real top team in the league showed up tonight and they’re no joke. There’s not by accident that they’re the number one team in the league.”
