Marc Gasol is dealing with a hamstring injury and is not expected to have significant playing time against the Utah Jazz on Monday.
Gasol has not recovered from the hamstring tightness and will be treated as an ’emergency third center’.
“Marc Gasol is still feeling hamstring tightness so is an “emergency” third center, but is available,” Kyle Goon of Southern California News Group reports.
With the arrival of Andre Drummond, Gasol has lost his place in the starting lineup of the Lakers and has limited coming off the bench.
