Aaron Gordon says Nuggets still ‘have enough’ to win NBA championship with Nikola Jokic

Denver Nuggets are still in play to win every night despite Jamal Murray’s injury, according to Aaron Gordon. The high-flying forward still believes Denver has championship aspiration because of Nikola Jokic.

Gordon is not ready to give up hope on this Nuggets’ roster as the team remains one of the best in the Western Conference, especially with the “Joker” playing on MVP-level.

(via Bleacher Report):

“We still feel like we have enough, especially with ‘Joker’ man,” Gordon said in an interview with Sam Amick of the Athletic. “When you’ve got that guy on the floor, you have a chance to win every single night.

So, everybody’s got to step up, everybody has to play their best. But if we’re doing that, then I feel like we have a good chance to go as far as we want to.”

Gordon is posting 11.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists through 11 games with the Nuggets. On the other hand, Jokic is leading his team in points, field goal percentage, rebounds and assists.

The Nuggets were able to prevail in the last two games without Murray, defeating Miami and Houston. Denver is at 36-20, ranked as the fourth seed in the Western Conference behind the Utah Jazz, Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Clippers.
