Miami Heat reportedly expects Victor Oladipo to play again this season

Victor Oladipo could return to play for the Miami Heat this season, according to Adrian Wojnarowski. Woj said on Sunday’s NBA countdown that the veteran guard is expected to play again this year missing the last six games ‘more so for precaution’ than anything else.

Woj said that Dipo “tweaked the area around his previous quad injury” but is “expected to come back this season” and the missed games right now are moreso “precaution” than anything else

The two-time All-Star was a midseason acquisition by the Heat at the trade deadline on March 25. He played for the Indiana Pacers and the Houston Rockets earlier this season.

Oladipo averaged 20.8 points on 41.1 percent shooting and 4.7 assists per contest in 29 games on Indiana and Houston this year. He only played four games for Miami before tweaking his knee in the game vs. the Lakers on April 8.
