Following the surprising loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves, Jimmy Butler called the Miami Heat soft. The Heat superstar claimed he does not know which team will show up every night.

“I can’t tell you which way we’re going to go,” Butler said, per ESPN. “I don’t know what team is going to show up on any given night.”

“We’re just being soft. That’s it,” Butler continued. “Not getting into bodies, scared of some contact. Soft overall.”  The Heat entered the weekend in the No. 7 spot in the East, 1.5 games behind sixth-place New York.

Erik Spoelstra’s team has experienced several ups and downs this season due to COViD-19 protocols and various injuries in crucial rotational and star pieces.

Friday marked Miami’s third straight loss, and it was the team’s 10th loss in the past 16 games. The Heat dropped to 28-28 with just 16 games remaining in the 2020/21 season campaign.
