The New York Knicks have an open roster spot and are keeping Baskonia guard Luca Vildoza on their radar, according to Donatas Urbonis.

A roster spot became open after the Knicks chose not to give veteran big man John Henson another 10-day contract after his first one expired.

Vildoza, 25, is averaging 10.9 points, 1.7 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.6 steals per game in 27 Liga ACB games, as well as 10.1 points, 2.0 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.6 steals per game in 31 EuroLeague games this season.

The 6-foot-3 Argentinian is in his fourth year with Baskonia.

The Knicks are also reportedly interested in 30-year-old CSKA Moscow guard Mike James who has been one of the top EuroLeague scorers in the last couple years.

James has some NBA experience, as he previously played 36 games with the New Orleans Pelicans and Phoenix Suns in 2017-18.
